Formed in late 2009, we consider ourselves more of a “remake” band than a “cover” band…we like to put our own spin on songs to make them “Tasty.” As children of the 80s, we play mostly 70’s/80’s/90’s set lists, but delve into other decades as well.

Our duo features local radio personality and traffic reporter Robin Scott on lead vocals and harmonies, and Rob Fields on guitar and vocals.

“Rob ‘n’ Robin” have been performing together as a duo since 1994 and have had some great musicians in and out of the group over the years, but it has come back to where it all started, as an acoustic duo.

Medleys and mashups
Live, Local Music

We do a few sweet medleys and mashups, plus interesting versions of familiar songs you won’t hear anywhere else. Using various forms of technology, we occasionally add extra harmonies, drumbeats, and bass lines using loop and harmony pedals, but it’s always LIVE!

Our goal is to perform songs that we enjoy playing in hopes that the energy and passion will emotionally engage anyone who is listening. Performing as a duo, we can keep the volume down, but are definitely not “background music.” We have a full professional PA System available, and we’re easy to work with.
